MARGIN OF ERROR: First Calls

First calls coming in. Safe Bush states going Bush (Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee. What a surprise). A string of safe Kerrys also dropping in on cue. Mind you, ElectoralVote.com's poll that threw New Jersey to Bush has been shown up as a wild outlier. Some states called with 0% of results in - how's that work? BBC News struggling.

Daily Kos is running a set of exits from an alleged contact at the New York Times:

Interesting - if reliable, and what about that....MARGIN OF ERROR? Kerry now leading 78-66 on the electoral college, after he got all 4 EVs from Maine. Source - BBC News, who are broadcasting aerial footage of giant voter queues in Philadelphia. After all it's the City of Brotherly Love (cue soul music). Some Bush states - South Carolina, Virginia - are hovering. A Kos commenter claims a Kerry lead of 1% in VA. God, I've started using those annoying yank state abbreviations. Time for more coffee!
